THE 5K RACE
Are you looking for a great 5K to run and want to see some other great races...then this 5K is for you. There are no age groups but the top runners will receive Awards!!! and all pre-registered runners will get the unique one of a kind T-shirt in their size. While supplies last for race day registrants. This is a very fast out and back course...designed with your PR in mind! The coolness of running over the Historic Covered Bridge is an added bonus. After the race you can kick back and relax in the park, wade in the river to cool off your legs and then watch as the Half marathoners finish up and the Marathoners run through on their way to traverse the second half of their course. Awards will be given out in the finish line chute area and results will be posted up as soon as the last runner crosses the finish line.
Course Description:
Flat, Fast, Down Hill and the Wind at Your Back the Whole Way...in "relative" terms so to say!
The race will start at 8 a.m. at the Enclosed Shelter. This is an all road 5K that goes out and comes back the same way it went out...an out and back!
Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 7 a.m. till 7:55a.m. Bathroom will be open by 7a.m. Bathroom building is about 200 meters from the start and finish area, there also is a second set of bathroom located in the main park lodge in the park.
AWARDS: Awards to the Top Ten Overall Male and Female Runners. There will be no age groups but if can get into the top ten you'll get something!
